Caramelised South African Plums on Toast with Crumbled Feta, Thyme and Honey

The perfect 10 minute recipe to change up your breakfast or lunch!

Serves 1


Ingredients

- 4 South African plums, sliced

- fresh thyme

- drizzle of honey

- pinch of salt

- slice of bread - crumbled feta (can also use a dairy-free alternative)


Method

  1. Firstly, remove the stones from the plums and roughly slice.

  2. Add to a skillet and fry for a few minutes until starting to soften.

  3. Now drizzle in the honey, fresh thyme and a pinch of salt and fry until starting to caramelise (5 minutes).

  4. Finally, toast your bread and top with the plums, crumbled feta, drizzle of honey and a pinch of salt and tuck in!
